I want to blog...

I want to blog! Who doesn't now-a-days anyway? I just don't know where to start! I'm used to journaling, but I don't want to bore any who stumble across this with drivel about my personal dramas!
So I'll just start with the truth.
*I'm a mess! My kitchen always has a pile of dirty dishes, my hall always has at least 3 loads of dirty laundry in it, and our tiny 2 bedroom has a lot of clutter in it!

*Some days I don't get dressed. I have a 4 month old, and he spits up, a lot! We are home alone at least 10 hours everyday so I don't see the point in adding to that pile in the hall!

*I smoke. Cigarettes, outside the house now thankfully! I used to smoke marijuana, matter of fact I still do sometimes. The way I see it the Lord created all greens of the earth to be used by us. So if my anxiety is becoming crippling I'd rather take 2 hits of some green than pop a zombie pill.

*I love my kids! Who doesn't, right? I hear at least once a week that I need to go out more, or get a hobby, and other variations of "you spend too much time with your kids"! Why, though? So I can encounter the endless drama of so called "adults" who never really left high school? So I can imbibe alcohol and act foolish just to be less than my best for the kids tomorrow? Or maybe it's so you don't feel bad for not spending more time with your own children?

* I truly believe I may be the only Mom out there who genuinely does NOT want a glass of wine. I don't care what kind or when, I just don't want it. Or a beer.

* I pray everyday. I go to church most Sundays, because my church amazes me with how it breaks the "hateful" Christian mold. I listen to Christian music (and other music too). 1Corinthians 13 is my life mission statement!! I refuse to use The Bible to judge or hate ANYONE! Before I was Christian I thought Jesus Christ seemed to be a pretty good role model. Accepting, loving, non-judgmental! That's the kind of Christian I am. Oh and I am far from perfect, and so are the rest of you!!

I will leave it at this, and hopefully find something worth reading to write about!
